You might think that Andrew Tate’s arrest for human trafficking would lead to a little self-reflection amongst Men’s Rights activists, many of whom have historically had a little bit of a soft spot for the guy.

Artificial wombs are in the news again, not because they’re an actual thing for humans but because some guy made a video suggesting that soon they will be. Filmmaker and biotechnologist Hashem Al-Ghaili has put together a CGI-heavy fake ad for an imaginary “birthing facility” in which 30,000 fetuses could be simultaneously gestated in spiffy plastic pods.
WNBA star Brittney Griner is back on US soil again after being released from a Russian penal colony yesterday as part of a “prisoner swap” arranged between the US and Russian governments. Griner, imprisoned for the petty crime of having some hash oil in her luggage, was traded for a convicted arms dealer.
So a Men’s Rights Redditor called ArgueLater is apparently quite impressed by the conversational prowess of OpenAI’s new chatbot, ChatGPT. This, combined with the increased sophistication of “bipedal anthropomorphic robots,” can only mean one thing: really chatty sexbots, which will bring about something close to a utopia for long-suffering men.
You may recall the story of Nick Alahverdian, the alleged con artist and serial rapist who faked his own death and fled to Scotland to escape charges in the US, only to be arrested by Interpol while in the hospital with Covid. I’ve written about him, and his one-time close ties with Men’s Rights hate site A Voice for Men, several times in the past.
Men’s Rights activists don’t often say outright that women shouldn’t be allowed to work. They just treat working women as ticking time bombs–“false” accusations waiting to happen.
So yesterday someone sent a link to what he said was an FBI report on the manosphere to an excitable Men’s Rights Redditor, who quickly posted it to the Men’s Rights subreddit with the title “‘The manosphere’ is currently being investigated by the FBI, including r/Mensrights!” It got more than 100 upvotes.
The Pledge Drive is almost over. But we’re still not quite where we need to be. And so if you haven’t donated yet, please do!
You can also give by Venmo at David-Futrelle-1. Thanks!
Jacare_o has it all figured out. In a post on the Men’s Rights subreddit today, the imaginative young man lays out a foolproof plan to raise a family “safely” in the gynocentric world of today.
I learn so many things by reading Reddit on the regular. Here are a few historical insights I picked up on the Antifeminist subreddit today.
Back in its heyday in the early and mid 2010s, A Voice for Men was one of the more obnoxious sites on the internet, not just attacking women on a daily basis but doing so in the crudest language its writers could think of, regularly castigating women as “cunts” and “bitches” at the same time site founder Paul Elam claimed that AVFM was the flagship site for a so-called “Men’s Human Rights Movement.”
