Does J.K. Rowling believe that trans people — or at least trans women — don’t deserve the presumption of innocence? That seems to be the clear implication of an op-ed she wrote for the Times (UK) today. But she is cagey enough in her wording that she can and probably will figure out a way to say, my goodness, I wasn’t saying anything of the kind.
Once in a while, someone will step forward with what they see as a “solution” for incels: hire sex workers to take care of their celibacy, the root cause of their hatred and bitterness.
So over on Ovarit — the Redditesque hangout for TERFs — the regulars in the so-called “Gender Critical” forum were discussing the fact that trans women are still required to register for the draft in the US, as if they were men. Naturally, the “Gender Criticals” found this hilarious.
The pledge drive came to a close earlier this week, and I want to offer the hugest thanks to those who turned it from an apparent impending failure to a great success! Thank you to those who donated, some quite generously. And thank you to those who helped spread the message. It’s not overstating things to say that you’ve saved the blog
As I mentioned before, I am going to be taking some steps to get the finances of this blog on a more stable footing so we won’t have another emergency like this one. I’ll fill you in on that in another post soon.

So yesterday someone sent a link to what he said was an FBI report on the manosphere to an excitable Men’s Rights Redditor, who quickly posted it to the Men’s Rights subreddit with the title “‘The manosphere’ is currently being investigated by the FBI, including r/Mensrights!” It got more than 100 upvotes.

Madonna’s “I’m gay” Tik-Tok video has confused a lot of people on the internet, myself included. In the video, Madonna taps into a TikTok meme in which people announce “if I miss this, I’m gay,” before throwing something at or perhaps into a wastebasket. Or maybe a basketball hoop. I don’t know, I don’t generally watch TikTok if I can help it.

I‘m not sure where to even start on this one, so I won’t. I’ll just show it to you.
