Under Ron DeSantis, Florida is rapidly getting worse for trans kids and LGBTQ+ people generally. And the collateral damage from ill-conceived GOP legislation could hurt a lot of others too.
So, a little announcement. I’ve started a new Substack newsletter/blog called My AI Obsession, which is about, well, you know. I’ll be posting there several times a week (while continuing to post here, of course), and I encourage you all to subscribe or, at the very least, check it out. The last time we checked in on the intrepid right-wing culture warriors at Bounding Into Comics, they were pitching a fit over the race- and gender-swapping of some of the characters in Disney’s live-action remake of Peter Pan & Wendy. In the new version of the film, you see, neither Peter Pan nor Tinkerbell is white–and some of the Lost Boys are girls! Naturally, this makes the Bounding Into Comics guys very mad, for some completely unknown reasons that couldn’t possibly be racism or misogyny.
The oppression of men by fat women continues apace. Reports are coming in that some of these fat women want to date “normal” sized men, while “normal” sized women are all dating hunky Chads and are thus unavailable and unattainable by their male looks matches.
Just fucking wank it, ok? New research in the journal Sexualities discovered that people who engage with anti-masturbation communities tend to feel more suicidal after a perceived “relapse.”
Jesse Singal has ostentatiously quit Twitter–at least for a couple of weeks, he promises–penning not one but two articles explaining this momentous decision. You can totally tell how much he simply does not care about this because he joked in his second piece that he was “writing this from prison. Internet Prison, which is the worst kind.”
