There are no arguments to rebut here; I can only repeat the basic message that the slutwalks are trying to convey: no one deserves to be raped, no matter what they are wearing or how much consensual sex they engage in. Even if they show some cleavage or prefer athletes and/or rocks stars to so-called beta males.

Ion, I think common sense can be used to determine what is the difference between hitting on someone and harassing someone. It has nothing to do with how desirable the person is. It’s more about how much respect they show in their approach. If you are sincerely asking someone for a phone number or date, then the other person will probably let you down easily when they are uninterested. If you say something crude or try to touch the person without permission, that will give off the creepy vibes.

Logic fail. He was claiming to make a protest about the nature of family courts in New Hampshire (which are backlogged massively, as with all the courts in NH, because of Small Gov’t types working to “starve the beast).
But even you can’t think that he was hoping to be granted custody after he’d crisped himself.
Equal custody is a right parents have. It’s also not something every parent should have, and once an abuse complaint (and don’t spout off on “VAWA”, 1: I didn’t say men are the sole abusers, and 2: you have proven, time and again, you aren’t willing to be the least bit honest about it) has been made the issue isn’t, “is this a parent,” but is this a safe person to have around children.
In his case we don’t know. Ball split her lip. Then he refused to do the (minimal) amount of work the court demanded to show that the incident was aberrant.
So, while it’s sad that he put himself in that position (i.e. loss of custody), it’s not the fault of anyone but himself, and his self-immolation was so much tragic as it was pathetic.
