Oxytocin levels would entail nature and feminist theory clearly states gender is a construct. Therefore anything to do with hormone/testosterone, ect. is irrelevant. Unless of course gender isn’t a construct. Say it ain’t so!!!

Now NWOslave, could you give some indication as to the nature of the 6% drop in bonding potential? I don’t remember learning of any such a large drop in oxytocin levels ever being found except for the postpartum decline, but memory can, of course, be flawed. Are you referring to a different hormone, or perhaps a neurotransmitter? If so could you tell us which one? The 6% number is difficult to find information on without some other data point, and as you have not sited your sources you leave it up to us to verify your information. You rightly do not accept unverified data as evidence, and I do the same.

And they are not the only ones who had marriages that had nothing to do with what you assume is the normal course. Some people would marry but never actually live with the person they married. Plenty of cultures could care less how many people someone sleeps with and/or how many babies are born. Some societies have women with multiple husbands.
In other words, a 50% rate is not that big a deal. Instead it just means that marriage is just doing what it always had, adapted to what people really want, not what YOU think they should want.
And if someone wants a partner, they should take steps to attract one. MRAL’s lack of a pleasant personality is what is his problem, not his lack of a pleasant physique.

Personally I think divorce is a marvellous thing. If two people don’t want to be around each other anymore, they shouldn’t have to be and how does someone else’s breakup affect me? It doesn’t unless some loser MRA isn’t paying his child support and his former family ends up on welfare.

It doesn’t, but even if it did you’d have absolutely no way of knowing how many sexual relationships any given woman has had unless she goes out of her way to tell you, and I’d wager that women are more in the habit of telling you to get the fuck away from them rather than sharing their histories with you.
Quick reality check: The divorce rate has remained roughly stable since the early 1980s, when the last major changes were made to divorce laws. In other words, what changed wasn’t people’s attitudes toward marital fidelity; it was divorce becoming legally easier, so that people who were in unhappy marriages could get out. The divorce rate hasn’t risen in 30 years.
The statistic about most forms of violent crime dropping since the early 1990s is also accurate.

Also, divorce is sometimes the best possible thing for two partners. My dad’s parents made each other and their children miserable for thirty years before one of them died, and it was a mercy; my mom’s parents divorced amicably and even though my mom hated being the only child of a “broken home” in her small town, she was far happier in her childhood than she would have been otherwise. My parents promised each other that if they started hating each other, they would divorce, because they did not want to do that to their kids. They’re still together today.
