To say that the Daily Stormer’s Nazi-in-chief Andrew Anglin is excited about Trump’s electoral victory is a bit of an understatement. Anglin, one of the most influential figures in the so-called alt-right, is so overjoyed by Trump’s success that he’s … encouraging his readers to harass depressed Hillary supporters until they kill themselves.
In a post on Wednesday (archived here), Anglin pointed his readers to dozens of tweets from Hillary supporters publicly declaring themselves scared by Trump’s win.
“You can troll these people and definitely get some of them to kill themselves,” Anglin happily tells his readers.
Just be like “it’s the only way you can prove to the racists that Hillary was right all along.”
“Mass Suicides After Trump Victory” would be a headline the media would play up, but all it would do would demoralize the left even further.

Unfortunately, those in charge of Twitter don’t really seem to care much that their platform has become the enabler of this sort of harassment. Forney, for example, only got a brief timeout after repeatedly harassing a Republican strategist who was and is a vocal critic of Trump.

Hi. I think this whole thing is appalling. Its so strange to me that these Nazis would want anyone to kill themselves; after all does not the Far Right feel against ending life? Don’t they feel abortion is a sin? How can They ask people to self abort? HOW? While movement conservatives are against abortion, alt-rightists are a different story. Check out Radix Journal, for instance (the publication supports abortion under some circumstances, because they see it as beneficial to a eugenics agenda).
As far back as Freakonomics in the 90s there have been “alt” abortion supporters who don’t see it from the point of view of individual rights, but merely as shrewd public policy (that book claimed that legalizing abortion reduces crime, with strong eugenics implications).
That would explain why Forney and Anglin say these things. They aren’t pro-life, even by their own admission; they are pro-BIRTH, and only as long as said births reflect their idea of Aryan purity. It’s important to remember that the alt-right isn’t the same as movement conservatism or evangelicalism, and in many respects it is opposed to both. Alt-rightists virtually always believe in evolution, for instance (and use it to justify their Social Darwinist views).

Saw some coverage of the protests in Portland at dinner today. Two minutes in total, and maybe ten sentences. One of which was a statement from a police officer, saying “98% of the protestors have been peaceful; we believe that anarchists and others violent groups are using the protests as cover.” The remainder of the sentences were about the violence, tear gas, damage, and mayhem of those 2%. No sentences about why the protestors were protesting. All with visuals of explosions, screaming, tear gas canisters being fired into crowds, and announcements by megaphone behind lines of riot police.
In other words, painting an image of protestors as a mindless screaming mob, with heroic police fending off the over-emotional millennial crybabies.
I’m very glad I don’t watch TV, and I wish the institution of “television news” nothing but a quick death.
