Ugh. It’s the Jailbait subreddit again. If you’ve been following any of the discussions that have recently been swirling around Reddit’s popular subreddit dedicated to the posting of technically-not-child-porn pics of underage girls, you probably ran across the standard Jailbait apologia: The pics there aren’t nude pics, and besides, most of them were originally posted on the internet by the girls themselves. So it’s all good clean fun, I guess.
It’s going to be a little bit harder for the Jailbaiters to use this bullshit argument in the future. A day or so ago, you see, a Jailbaiter calling himself TheContortionist posted a pic of his (alleged) 14-year-old ex-girlfriend’s ass in a thong. Naturally, the regulars demanded more. The OP noted that the only other pics he had of her were nudes.
So literally dozens of the regulars – I counted around 70 in all — begged him to PM the nudes to them. And … apparently he did send some of them the pics, at least according to a r/jailbait moderator with the charming handle I_RAPE_PEOPLE.
I can only hope that some of the requesters were FBI agents.

TheContortionist’s post (and the Jailbaiters’ reaction to it) was first brought to the attention of non-pedo Redditors by Me_bender in ShitRedditSays, then brought to the attention of the rest of Reddit by SRS regular HPLovecraft.
Naturally, this being Reddit, the r/jailbait apologists are still insisting that, hey, even though something like 70 people in r/jailbait publicly requested PMs of child porn, this sort of thing is officially frowned upon by the subreddit’s mods, so, you know, not to worry. As CapNRoddy put it:
The existence of r/jailbait does not mean nudes of children. Those are against the rules. Those posters broke the rules.
And then of course there were various iterations of this non-argument, set forth here by im_only_a_dolphin:

If by “solved” you mean “ignored, because I don’t give a shit about crimes that harm people other than me,” then I guess, yeah, that is “problem solved.”
I’ve been taking these quotes from the sometimes surreal discussion of the issue on the WTF subreddit. That discussion also produced this rather surreal exchange with I_RAPE_PEOPLE, the r/jailbait moderator I mentioned earlier:

I can only hope that the authorities are investigating these creeps, and that the Reddit admins are cooperating fully with them.
Even if the soliciting of kiddie porn wasn’t a crime, sending and receiving it still would be. Also I’m pretty sure that a good lawyer could take existing laws about purchasing kiddieporn and convince a jury that they still applied even if no money changed hands.

Nah, GoT is actual pretty cool, but it is super gritty and miserable and violent and rapey for basically everyone. No one in their right mind would want to go through a fraction of what those characters have inflicted on them, let alone use them as models of how the world should function. :p

I mean hey, one of the characters has technically survived being imprisoned and raped and tortured and starved and literally driven insane and having his body parts chopped off — so MRAL shouldn’t whine if any of that happened to him, right? It kind of turned out okay in the end! ^^

Isn’t it ironic that a girl who either poses for the pictures or takes them herself commits no crime. How is that possible? How is that a girl, who has committed the act, is blameless? Yet any “man” who looks at the act she committed is a criminal?
I don’t think it’s SICK, as in physiologically abnormal. I mean, a mature-looking female ass is a mature-looking female ass, no matter the age. Maybe it’s morally wrong. Meh. NWO: No adults involved, no crime. Even 14 yo girls have the right to take pictures. From the way these pics were described, tho, she didn’t take them – her adult ‘boyfriend’ took them. Automatically illegal. And even if she took them, the pervs salivating and demanding the nekked ones should have fucking well known better than to break the law like that.
Also, going back a bit, even if MRAL doesn’t believe Bagelsan and myself that we had substantial boobs at under 10, how old does he think most girls are when they get boobs? I’d say the average is about 12 or so. So it’s OK for grown men to solicit pics of 12 year olds? Personally I could not make it past the part in the first book, maybe forty pages in when the *spoilerwhisper*window thing happens*spoilerwhisper*. Not because I was dismayed, but because I did not find it interesting. And I read every single chapter of the more boring of the Wheel of Time books (that was years ago, though, so maybe it doesn’t count anymore).

Actually, I believe teenagers have been charged with possession of child porn for having nude pictures of themselves. Does that make you feel better?
