Everybody’s favorite malignant baboon of a congressman — Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa — is one of those politician dudes who opposes abortion SO HARD that he even opposes it in cases of rape and incest.
Today, speaking to the Westside Conservative Club in Urbandale, Iowa, he offered a defense, of sorts, of this position, by suggesting that if we erased all the children of rape and incest from human history that we wouldn’t have much human history left — and not many humans left at all.
What if we went back through all the family trees and just pulled out anyone who was a product of rape or incest? Would there be any population of the world left if we did that?
Considering all the wars and all the rapes and pillages that happened throughout all these different nations, I know that I can’t say that I was not a part of a product of that.
Huh. The fact that bad shit used to happen all the time in human history doesn’t mean that we should keep doing that bad shit for history’s sake. Countless women in history were re-traumatized by having to raise children conceived in rape and incest. Let’s maybe leave that in the past, huh?
You can watch the whole horrible thing in the video below.

No matter how indignant you get, no matter how much you write, the facts are there, stubborn and immutable:
These men are winners – at their jobs, with women, in life.
Uhm, Sack, you are aware that Rep. Steve King IS NOT famous horror writer Stephan King, right? While I have no idea who is richer (a fast Google search says he’s worth around 400 million dollars), Stephan has arguably done more for people by writing his stories than Steve has done while in the House.
Plus, I strongly suspect that Stephan would have Things To Say if people stared saying his accomplishments are also Steve’s accomplishments based solely on them both being old rich white men. You know, like how many of the White Nationalist like to claim the accomplishments of random successful white guys as their own based solely on skin tone.
Since we haven’t gotten a satisfactory or entertaining or original or mature answer from Sack, I propose a shift to a more entertaining topic.

Steve King just about admitted, at least in subtext, that no woman has ever laid down with him willingly, and he thinks that’s just normal amirite fellas?
Also, barely upper middle class, and not notable for his accomplishments. As to fit, hard to say. Doesn’t look like any kind of Adonis to me, even for his age, though maybe he can run a marathon as well as run his mouth.
Not much of a winner.
@ Sad Sack
Married, parent, and probably money wise worth more than you or most of the sorry types we mock here. It’s no great trick, and you aren’t even capable of answering the questions put to you here.
(Also, Watership Down fist bump to all interested parties)
In memory of Hazel-rah! (fist bump)
@sack
He was censured by the House, by his own Republican Party, and removed from all his congressional committee seats because of his heinous remarks. McConnell said he should find another line of work and Romney said he should quit. How successful at his job again?
@Redsilkphoenix
Stephen King actually made a tweet the other day that just said “No, I’m not THAT Steve King.”

@Sack
Which men? Are you one of the winmen? Are you the best at women and also jobs?
Dude you are cracking me the fuck up. You are gettin reeedickulous and it making this ole stoner chuckle quite a bit.
What a tedious little shit you are, Sack. Do you think that if we mock you it’ll magically make you “successful?”
@Kevin
Hey, don’t be derogatory towards people who have different living situations than you. Mind the splash damage. Folks who live in their parents’ basement are fully able to be kind, reasonable, and empathetic people, traits which our troll does not possess.
@Sack
You do know that citing encyclopedia dramatica is like citing the onion, right? Nobody’s falling for it.
well, that’s enough of sack. banned.
Good riddance. What a dull troll.
@Redsilkphoenix
The first time I read that I thought it was the horror writer and I was like
“no please, I loved it so much” and was actually relieved it wasn’t him.
What a disingenuous jerk, implying that letting women have abortions means discriminating against people who were conceived in violent or coercive situations. Like Catalpa said, it twists causality and it’s cruel.
Plus, since seems a bunch of Republicans aren’t even against rape, people should focus on abortion choice for anyone that’s pregnant. I mean, they already do, but people shouldn’t have to talk about pregnancy from rape as the only situation where someone might want an abortion. What about poverty, health conditions, etc.? What about just let the pregnant person decide?? (Grr at Repubs for this.)
…
Encyclopedia Dramatica, eh? When I last saw/heard of that it was “edgy” troll content, so it wouldn’t surprise me that it’s gone to right-wing troll content.
As a teenager I liked to read the other wiki-parody site, Uncyclopedia.* They had a running feud going with E.D., a thing that miiight have been
problematically elitist at times (focusing on being better educated and all that), but at least they didn’t have so much vitriol, gross-out stuff, and pedophile jokes. They did have an article calling murder “extroverted suicide,” which was the kind of morbid thing my 17-year-old self would laugh at, but the articles relied more on “random” humour than cruelty. (It’s where I first heard of Theodor Adorno – go figure.)
*Oh dear, I googled and this still exists. I pray to Agnostic God that I won’t get into a nostalgia-fueled time-wasting binge – I need to do other stuff.
That was the most pathetic troll I’ve ever seen. My pet rock could do better.
Violencelinking to Encyclopedia Dramatica is the last refugee of the incompetentSack is like something out of a Greek myth, condemned to sit in a puddle and repeat the same boring, untrue sentence for all eternity.
@Sack
Did you seriously just link to Encyclopedia Dramatica? I haven’t been on there since I was in high school 10 years ago dude. You’re a joke,
And that rock in that puddle can’t even claim to Live On The Beach!
::those were the days::
@EoI
I used to waste time on Uncyclopedia too…I hope it hasn’t gone to the alt-right the way Encyclopedia Dramatica has.
