The 6 hottest hot takes on the #ComeyHearing from Reddit’s TheDonald

Roger Stone: The real winner in the #ComeyHearings?

If you’re looking for insights as to what the real impact of today’s #ComeyHearings will be for the Trump regime, why not turn to the world’s greatest experts on all things Trump, the endlessly babbling TrumpTrainers of Reddit’s TheDonald?

Here are the 6 hottest hot takes I found in TheDonald today.

1) This is all part of Trump’s brilliant strategy of 4D chess!

duupiduupi 5 points an hour ago I think Trump is deliberately riling up FBI and other agencies to see who are his enemies. Testing their reactions with various ways. I think he will let them attack with this Russia&FBI horseshit for a while now and then when they calm down a bit, he will counterattack all of sudden with something totally new.

2) Wait, did I say Trump was playing 4D chess? I meant Putin.

2termtrump 5 points 3 hours ago Word is Putin has compromising information on Democrats from the hack. He is threatening to release it if they don't undermine the United States.

3) This is all part of a devious plot to kill midwestern Trump voters by starting a war with Russia!

BaldursonME 22 points 2 hours ago How do you solve the "problem" of all the conservative heartland voters? Send them to die in a war with Russia

4) This is all part of a devious plot to ensure that no one will ever be able to criticize Hillary Clinton.

freewayricky12 25 points 4 hours ago This guy makes me sick, these people want to go to war to avoid admitting Clinton had a horribly ran campaign

5) Comey should be fired for opposing EXCELLENCE and WINNING.

MAGAvember_8thMI 25 points 3 hours ago Dear President Trump, James Comey said, under oath, that he hates "sustained excellence." Do you really want someone like that around or do you want a stable of WINNERS? Sincerely, AMERICA

6) Somehow this whole thing increases the credibility of … Roger Stone!

NotableBuffaloNC 17 points 6 hours ago Man, Roger Stone must be legit and have something on these bastards, because they are really going after him. Honestly I thought he was a bit of nutjob before, but not now.

We are through the looking glass, people!

I am strongly reminded of Otto from a Fish Called Wanda :

“You know your problem? You don’t like WINNERS.”

“Winners?”

“Yeah. WINNERS.”

“Winners, like North Vietnam?”

“Shut up. We didn’t lose Vietnam. It was a tie!”

“I’m tellin’ ya baby, they kicked your little ass there. Boy, they whooped yer hide REAL GOOD.”

That pic is the creepiest thing I seen all day, and I played Fallout.

Actually, the problem of “conservative heartland voters” will be solved by Drumpfcare itself kicking in. As in, they’re old, they’re riddled with pre-existing conditions, they can’t afford it, so they’re all gone by the next election.

And if it weren’t for the godforsaken Electoral College, they wouldn’t even be an issue to begin with, much less worth courting by politicians, because their sparsely populated states wouldn’t have such inordinate power compared to more populous regions.

I think, in general, if you feel the need to repeatedly tell everyone you’re winning, then you’re not really winning. (A lesson most of us leaned at age ten.)

@Sinkable
How much money did he use to bribe-

Before You Blame the Wage Gap, Check Your Attitude

News Flash: The Decline of Marriage Harms Young Men

These are on the front page of their site. They don’t seem very legitimate with those on their cover, alongside having education reform but doesn’t mention stopping Devos.

or, Bina, if the electoral college had done what it actually was intended to do: stop someone like trump from becoming president. it’s all pretty ironic in the most horrifying ways.

@brian

if the electoral college had done what it actually was intended to do

Trump is white. He ran against a candidate with strong minority support. The electoral college did exactly what it was supposed to do

Axecalibur (who spells their middle name “Danger”) skrev:

Trump is white. He ran against a candidate with strong minority support. The electoral college did exactly what it was supposed to do

So dropped the mic, and the countryside did shake with that feedback.

Minor correction:

Trump is white a white man. He ran against a candidate woman with strong minority support. The electoral college did exactly what it was supposed to do.

Why is everyone talking about war with Russia? The options aren’t just limited “Russia gets free reign to muck about with American elections at will” and “the US and Russia are actively at war.”

Good day. Trump and co took a nasty beating in the comey hearing and even republican congressmen are saying Trumpcare isn’t even going to make it through the house to go die on the Senate’s floor.

@byrdinator
Meadows & Amash have both told me w/ full confidence that the GOP Obamacare replacement bill won’t have enough votes despite Ryan’s changes

@justinamash:
They haven’t changed the bill’s general framework. They don’t have the votes to pass it. They have seriously miscalculated.

The majority of young people vote Democratic. If they vote at all. If we went to war with Russia and there was a draft, it would be young men drafted. The rich ones, who are more likely to have voted Trump than the poor ones will find some way to get excused. That’s what always happens. Only a small portion of Trump voters would be part of those drafted and actually sent to the front lines.

Do these dudes know anything about anything at all? No seriously. I’d be curious to know if there’s any subject they aren’t completely ignorant about. I have yet to find anything in my 2 1/2 years reading this site.

Yup, I’m with Axecalibur. The EC did, indeed, work as intended. How do I know? Oh, just a hunch…

It’s pretty sobering when one realizes that the EC was designed to sift out only progressive populists. Right-wing demagogues, however, get a pass.

@Bina
In short the US was designed to cater to bigoted classist theocrats from the very start. Why am I not surprised? Yeah that makes sense, a person vote in Wyoming is worth more than a vote in California because “fair and balanced.”

Trump is a white man. He ran against a woman with strong minority support. The electoral college did exactly what it was supposed to do.

So the electoral college exists to obstruct the will of the American people by giving more power to some voters over others. At least he admitted it. And I thought Hillary embodied American elites. Good to know.

Wait, I thought they shut down that subreddit?

I know they shut down the alt right subreddit, maybe that’s what you’re thinking of?

That photo: I wondered what the Gentlemen from ‘Buffy’ were up to nowadays, and now I know – haunting American politics. Though it would be nice if Trump would ‘hush’…

Even over here in UK we have these derpy trump speculators trying to figure out the clever plan behind it all. I’m not sure there is one, it may just be pure chaos. All stripes of opportunist will try and get their piece of the action and out of that some order may appear. But it is the order of the scrap yard. Who knows what will happen next I wish I lived in more boring times.

duupiduupi says this:

. . . he will counterattack all of a sudden with something completely new.

His attacks and counterattacks are constant, so yeah, you are 100 percent correct.

@Viscaria
Maybe they go right to a war as a solution for a social problem for similar reasons as white supremacists who go to a race war to solve a social problem. I don’t really know, but the similarities seem interesting. Maybe it’s a projection related assumption on thier part. It’s how they would manuver things so they assume it in opponents.

I’m not even being hyperbolic when I say Comey should be jailed for treason. It’s pretty clear that he was doing everything he could to throw the election to Trump. I just don’t see any other reason for his actions.

I get some small measure of satisfaction knowing that Trump’s incompetence and corruption is already making his job extremely difficult but it’s not enough. He’s done serious damage to this country and hurt global politics in general.

You know how the alt-right threw an extended tantrum over Streep’s Golden Globes speech, calling her (among other things) an out-of-touch actress?

What would Allen be touted as with this:

“If I have no intent, if I show no intent, if I clearly am not a racist, then how can ‘nigger’ be bad coming out of my mouth?” he said.

A brave warrior? “Just tellin it like it is”?

Agree with WWTH. STFU, Tim Allen. You’re hardly a fucking victim.

If I have no intent, if I show no intent, if I clearly am not a racist, then how can ‘nigger’ be bad coming out of my mouth?

If you have no intent, why did you speak? You clearly didn’t intend to, so how did you come to say anything? Break a perfectly good silence. Here’s the thing, Tim, you ain’t slick. You know it’s a ‘bad word’, or you wouldn’t be defending your use of it. You know why you shouldn’t be saying it, or you wouldn’t be tryna convince everyone that you’re not a racist. You know all that and still say it. I’m finding it a little difficult to believe there’s no intent to that…

WWTH:

I’m not even being hyperbolic when I say Comey should be jailed for treason. It’s pretty clear that he was doing everything he could to throw the election to Trump. I just don’t see any other reason for his actions.

Do you see any credible path from where we are to Comey being jailed? I agree that he’s dirty, but I’m pessimistic that he’ll ever pay for that. At worst he’ll lose his job… and find a lucrative job elsewhere, where he can exploit his inside knowledge and connections.

@gijoel
“I’m not racist even though I casually use racist words, I didn’t mean it or anything it just kind of happens.”

Fuck off Allen.The vast majority of mainstream movies didn’t suffer from lack of white cis het male protagonists Allen.

I’ve avoided Tim Allen for a good long while anyways. It’s not like he’s actually funny.

Anyway, another Darrow quote that’s relevant to today

With the land and possession of America rapidly passing into the hands of a favored few; with great corporations taking the place of individual effort; with the small shops going down before the great factories and department stores; with thousands of men and women in idleness and want; with wages constantly tending to a lower level; … with bribery and corruption openly charged, constantly reiterated by the press, and universally believed; and above all and more than all, with the
knowledge that the servants of the people, elected to correct abuses,
are bought and sold in legislative halls at the bidding of corporations and individuals: with all these notorious evils sapping the foundations of popular government and destroying personal liberty, some rude awakening must come. And if it shall come, … when you then look abroad over the ruin and desolation, remember the long years in which the storm was rising, and do not blame the thunderbolt.

Sorry. I could read Darrow quotes all day.

when you then look abroad over the ruin and desolation, remember the long years in which the storm was rising, and do not blame the thunderbolt.

Guess Darrow never anticipated Trump.

The Republican Party has been unknowingly preparing the road that led to Trump for over 50 years. Trump is merely the culmination of the Southern Strategy.

@Ooglyboggles, wierwood and others

Couldn’t agree with you guys more. Allen’s comments display an appalling ignorance of history. It’s the sort of comment a poorly educated man would make when you prick the bubble of his entitlement.
