If you grit your teeth and do a search for #GamerGate and #Ferguson together on Twitter, you will find Tweet after Tweet from worried #GamerGaters earnestly imploring their comrades not to make any connections between the two hashtags. Why? Because they know that those who cross the streams are likely to Tweet things like the following.
This what happens when #GamerGaters try to make sense of what is happening in Ferguson.
#GamerGate is more relevant to me than Ferguson because, well, I'm not a black Missourian, but I am a gamer.

The injustice in #ferguson, in my opinion, mirrors the injustice in #gamergate

I know #Ferguson is a much more immediate thing than #GamerGate, but don't forget to take a minute and send an email.

#Ferguson is a great example of how SJW mindset just leads to irrational behavior #GamerGate

SJW's looting and setting fire to stores, yeah you're really showing you're "peaceful". #GamerGate #Ferguson

Anti-#GamerGate is openly racist toward whites and is using #Ferguson to spread more anti-white racism. pic.twitter.com/XbuQ7HgfbX

Oh, and yes, these are all genuine #GamerGaters; check out their timelines for proof, and you’ll also see some of the terrible racist crap some of them have been tweeting and retweeting.
Oh joy, a Dickie Dawkins fan.
Bullshit. Radical feminists get shit heaped on them all the fucking time.
Gamergate started as one man stalking and harassing one woman, and getting his filthy troll mates to join in with rape and death threats. Then it escalated to spewing the same threats at other women, alllying with neo-Nazis and throwing in antisemitism to go with its misogyny.
So fuck off with your apologia, troll.
Does anyone know of an equivalent to Raid that works on assholes instead of roaches?
I, for one, think it’s important to be able to discuss the pros and cons of neo-Nazism openly and without judgment.
All groups, including political groups, have people of various affiliations within them. For example, some Democrats join the Republican party, and some anti-racism activists join the Klan, because what do words mean?
Also I think we may need to add smilies to the moderation filter, since they seem to correlate pretty strongly with assholery.

You must be new to this whole #NotYourShield thing, because “Afrocentric” is louder dogwhistle than “thugs” and your stolen picture is Denzel Washington.
Argh, grammar fail. *”Thugs” with a capital letter. =P
Why are the GGers still coming here and trying this shit on? It hasn’t worked for the past couple of months, why the fuck would it work now?
(Source: Alais’ link, proving that Captain Good Faith here didn’t even fucking read it.)
Shorter beegees – hi, my racism is creating some amazing confirmation bias, and also I believe everything I read on Stormfront.
@pallygirl:
They seem to literally believe in the power of wishful thinking. As long as they keep ignoring reality and the reactions of the people around them, the power of their ignorant mind can change the world around them. They don’t seem to realize that attempting the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is the definition of being a bullheaded shitweasel.
Or maybe they’re just extremely gullible and projecting so hard. Could be either, really.
@M. The Social Justice Ranger
Obviously I read the link, otherwise I couldn’t have
known that it described the prosecutor attacking one of the witnesses based on his/her mental illness. And yes, I would classify “told multiple lies to the FBI” as “having severe issues with credibility”. Or should we hang a man’s life in balance over the word of a proven liar? “Witness 42” isn’t the only witness with credibility problems either.
Yes, it’s not that there’s glaring problems with this case, it’s that I’m racist. When I was infuriated by George Zimmerman’s verdict and baffled by Michael Dunn’s, it was to trick all of you! MAUWH-HA! MUAWH-HA! MUAH-HA!
Why judge each shooting individually when you can just assume that everything conforms to the general racist pattern in society and be done with it? Yay!
(Note to non-USians, things may be less fucked up where you live, but getting charged with a crime in the US is a BIG.FUCKING.DEAL. Criminal trials are public records. They can effect whether someone gets a job regardless of whether they are found innocent or guilty. They also fairly frequently fail to accurately fact find and are subject to tons of bias. Better for the system to fail in the direction of letting a guilty man free than in the direction of putting an innocent man in jail.)
There are absolutely larger issues here than Darren Wilson’s racist ass. Again, there’s what you know, (or at least what you suspect), and what you can prove. As President Obama said; “We are a nation of laws”.
Anyway, I’m done with this thread. I’ve made my point, and as long as most the “arguments” against me consist of “make ad hominems and otherwise poison the well until something sticks”, there’s not much point to continue. Remember that debate is the best tool to find the truth.
I fucking hate sub-intellectuals who think that rehashing the wheel is some kind of novel and amazing insight. There is a reason why intelligent people don’t bother discussing the merits of Nazism, or phrenology, or spontaneous generation, or the divine right of kings – they were already tested and found wanting long ago.
#NotAllGators
OMG, it is! Is that Don Pedro? Or something from that era.
It most certainly is not. I realise beegees is leaving the field for the time being, but everybody including beegees should be aware that this “debate” shit is one of the leading arguments advanced by climate science deniers. Not a club any intelligent, halfway decent person should be trying to join.
Wah, people aren’t buying my shit, they’re so mean. Woe is me. Same song, different day, and unfortunately we’ll have to hear it again and again like a broken karaoke machine, because a pattern is emerging here.
Never mind that Wilson’s story doesn’t add up, McCulloch had clear conflicts of interest, and the prosecutors asked questions in leading ways that would bias the jurors against the witnesses. The reason there was no indictment must have been the evidence. Riiiight.
How about fucking off from this SITE, beegees. Just clear off. You’ve already been modded, now just go away for good.
Invoking Obama’s name to insists that justice has been served when a white cop who it’s looking like may have Klan affiliations walks free after killing a black kid was a rather impressive troll move, though, so points for that. Go get yourself a nice wide-screen TV for under the bridge, you’ve earned it.
I’ve emailed David about this racist trolling.
cassandra – not to mention that Wilson is now a millionaire through the donations racists, led by the so-called prosecutor, gave him.
Oh, and just before Wilson murdered Mike Brown, another cop was suspended and is facing termination of his job for dealing with a bloke by NOT shooting him, talking to him and driving him home, and then not filing a report.
That cop is black. Guess who’s pushing for him to be sacked? McCulloch.
For those who don’t know, a grand jury is charged to determine if there is cause to bring an indictment. Setting aside the old joke about how a grand jury will indict a ham sandwich if the prosecutor want it indicted. When you have numerous witnesses claiming the opposite of one another it needs to go to trial. That is about as open and shut a GJ case as you are going to get. Conflicting testimony? Jury trial. That is to say nothing about the absolutely amazing number of policy violations the perp committed.
beegee, you keep saying things that are simply not true. I wish you would either stop or leave.
Sorry mods, I did not realize beegee had declared they were done with this thread. I am too through with beegee, fer sure.
The way I heard it, it was the other way around – Wilson used some of his new-found millions to pay off McCulloch (not that he needed paying off, but hey, corrupt good ol’ boys love their bribery) – but frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if both are true.
Has everyone read the bit about how the prosecutors gave the GJ a statute that had been declared unconstitutional in the eighties to base their decision on. The thing about racists is they don’t worry about plausible deniability all that much. They rely on their racist constituents.
They’re assuming that the endemic corruption in the system there will cover up little problems like, you know, outdated statutes, improper fundraising, unequally applied regulations, all that little stuff.
This is the cop who got suspended for not shooting the person he was trying to arrest. Listen to him, conservative dumbasses, he’s telling you how the system there actually works.
Does anyone think beegee’s not a troll any more?
This isn’t a debate, but you are a tool.
The tool that people stick in a corner at the back of the shed because they can’t figure out any use for it, but a tool nonetheless.
Investigation and determination of facts have always been my preferred tools, although I have heard that there are lots of people still enjoying debate on the shape of the earth.
Debating is good when the facts are on your side or are genuinely in doubt. Debating when the facts aren’t on your side and aren’t in doubt is called “Lying.”
I’m not embedding this, because it’s hellish distressing:
” rel=”nofollow”>Mike Brown Sr at his son’s funeral.
That link is to say fuck you, racists, fuck you, trolls. Walk on caltrops forever: legos aren’t sharp enough.
The thing is, they won’t care. They already brush off the murders of children as if that doesn’t matter, and if someone’s racism is so strong that it wipes out the natural adult impulse to protect kids, then why would they care about a grieving father?
Yeah, the message was mostly for the faux-friends who come to this site. I wouldn’t expect to change the opinions of shameless racists.
Stunning lack of knowledge on the grand jury process too. She can get herself a nice recliner to put under the bridge with the flat screen TV.
Ain’t no protest like a Seattle protest:
http://www.king5.com/story/news/local/2014/11/28/black-friday-turns-to-protests/19631329/
Although the local news had entirely too much “what about the children” going on. Uh, they saw people protesting, they’ll live.
Oh no, the kids might learn that it’s possible to challenge authority when it’s abusing its power? The horror.
So, to sum things up.

Stay classy, GamerGaters.
The thing about McCulloch raising money for Wilson turned out to be false, but he still has plenty of problems.
